These terms apply to the Wayn navigation app and getwayn.app. By using Wayn you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.

Drive safely, and the road comes first

Always follow traffic law, road signs, traffic lights, police instructions and what you see on the road, even when Wayn says something different. Do not type, tap or read the screen while the car is moving: set your destination before you drive, and let a passenger or a stop handle anything else. You are responsible for how you drive.

Information may be wrong

Maps, routes, arrival times, traffic colours, speed limits, cameras and road reports come from open map data, other drivers and estimates. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A road shown as open may be closed, and a suggested route may not be the safest. Use your own judgement.

Your reports and contributions

• Report only what you really see, at the place and time you see it. Do not send false, joking or misleading reports.
• Do not include other people's personal information, insults, hate, threats, advertising or anything illegal in reports, feedback, place suggestions or business listings.
• You allow Wayn to store, show, change the format of and use what you contribute, so that the app works for all drivers and can improve. This permission continues after you delete your account for reports and suggestions that were already shown, without any link to you.
• Business listings must be accurate and submitted by someone allowed to represent the business. Only upload photos you have the right to share.
• We may review, edit or remove any contribution, and limit or close accounts that misuse the app.

Using Wayn lawfully

Do not use Wayn to break the law, to put anyone in danger, or to harass other drivers. Do not try to disrupt the service, read data you are not meant to see, copy the map or places data in bulk, or use automated tools against it.

Your account

Wayn works without signing in; your phone gets an anonymous account. You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email code to keep your history, and you can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.

Map and road data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Map tiles © OpenMapTiles. Some place data comes from the Overture Maps Foundation.

Availability and changes

Wayn is free. We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change or end. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Wayn after a change means you accept it.

Limits of our responsibility

Wayn is provided "as is", without guarantees that it is accurate, complete or always available. As far as the law allows, Wayn is not responsible for accidents, fines, delays, loss or damage that come from using the app or from relying on its information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
